What is IRC?

IRC is short for Internet Relay Chat. As you may have guessed, IRC is a chat system. You can to use an IRC client, like mIRC, or, if you don't want to download anything, our CGI:IRC, to connect to an IRC network like Netstable. Once connected, you can chat to other people there. IRC, however, is much more advanced than many other chat systems. To find out more, check out Using IRC. To find out about some of the channels (chat rooms), check out Channels.
